Current projects include the following for a growing addiction and rehabilitation center in MA, PA and IN.
- Researched, recommended and implemented e-signature software to automate new employee onboarding as well as various other documents for corporate Human Resources. The solution will also be integrated with the client’s EHR in a future phase. The solution allowed the HR Department to quickly onboard employees and minimize travel expenses.
- Researched and recommended an IT Asset Management solution which integrated with their existing Service Desk software and allowed the automation of fixed assets into the client’s financial system. Solutions provided a life-cycle from initial purchase order, tagging and monitoring asset through end-of-life which were non-existent. In addition, recommended vendor for HIPAA-compliant IT asset resell, donation and proper disposal of end of life technology.
- Advised CIO on “best practices” with regard to activating HIPAA templates as well as MDM (Mobile Device Management) management within corporate Microsoft Office365 platform. This addressed the Board of Director’s concerns that email integrity as well as corporate documents could be compromised if these preventive measures were not deployed.
- Researched and recommended video conferencing tools to integrate with client’s EHR (Electronic Health Record) to allow for telemedicine services. This solution combined with a technology which streamlined and effectively outsourced HR’s time sensitive I-9 employee eligibility verification process, virtually eliminated the need for HR staff to visit employees at remote offices and avoided travel expenses.
- Researched and implemented video and quick reference training guides for Microsoft Windows 10 as well as the O365 software suite. This allowed the client’s Helpdesk staff to provide training tools to new employees unfamiliar with any of their corporate products and limit basic “how-to” calls.
- Provided guidance and technical expertise with regard to an ongoing latency issue with their VOIP phone system. In addition, backup redundancy was deployed on their Cisco Meraki devices and allowed the client to reduce their telecom expenses by eliminating costly MPLS circuits at remote offices where business broadband and cellular provided similar performance at less than half the cost.
